We assess your constitution (Prakriti) and what is out of balance right now (Vikriti), then write a plan for your real week: what to eat and limit, how to time meals around work, a morning and evening routine that takes minutes, and the herbs and spices that support you. Most of it you can buy at the corner store or the nearest Indian grocer.

Questions about the wellness plan
How long does it take?
The assessment is one online session with Dr Amit. Your written plan follows the assessment, and you can start using it as soon as you receive it.
Do I need lab tests?
No. The Ayurvedic assessment is based on a detailed conversation about your digestion, sleep, energy, diet, routine and health history. If you have recent lab results, you are welcome to share them.
Can I follow it with my medications?
Yes. The plan is dietary and lifestyle guidance that works alongside your physician’s care. Keep taking prescribed medications, tell your doctor about any changes, and any supplement suggestion comes with a check for interactions with your medications.
Bring your questions about digestion, energy, sleep or weight. We look at what you eat now, how your day runs and your constitution, then rank the changes: the few that matter most this month, and what can wait.
Ayurveda treats the mind as part of the body’s balance. In 30 minutes we plan a sattvic, yogic way of eating, and match breath practice, meditation and a daily rhythm to your constitution, so the city’s pace stops setting yours.
From the five boroughs to Westchester, Long Island and the Jersey side of the Hudson, every session is a private video call, so where you live never decides whether you can get care.
Ayurveda New York provides education and lifestyle guidance based on Ayurveda. It is not a substitute for medical diagnosis or treatment. Always consult your physician about medical conditions and before changing medications.
